Location: Bethany United Church Hall, 2669 Joseph Howe Dr. in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Cost: $206.50 (taxes included) for 4 yoga sessions or sessions marked with individual prices as below. Props needed for the workshop are not provided. Please bring a mat, 2 blankets, 2 blocks, and 1 strap to all sessions.

Cyndi Lee founder of OM yoga, is a practitioner of hatha yoga and Tibetan Buddhism. Cyndi is the author of Yoga Body, Buddha Mind, the bestselling OM yoga in a Box series, and OM Yoga: A Guide to Daily Practice. She is a regular contributor to The Shambhala Sun, Natural Solutions, Fit Yoga and numerous other magazines. From 2004-5 she originated Yoga Journal's Home Practice column and currently writes for their Master Class Column. Other projects include OM yoga Beginner/Intermediate DVD; OM yoga and Meditation DVD/CD with co-author David Nichtern and the OM yoga Mix CD series. Cyndi has a worldwide following of students that attend her workshops and teacher trainings across the globe. She continues to study regularly with her guru, Gelek Rinpoche. David Nichtern is a senior teacher in the Shambhala Buddhist tradition of Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche, Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche, and Pema Chödrön. He is currently dean of Buddhist studies and practice for OM yoga. He has served as director of Karme Choling Meditation Center in Vermont and director of Expansion for Shambhala Training International.
A Grammy- and Emmy Award-winning musician, Nichtern wrote the classic song “Midnight at the Oasis” and is founder of Dharma Moon Records, 5 Points Records, and the world fusion band Drala. He is a highly regarded producer, guitarist, and composer for film, television, and records. Nichtern and his wife, Cyndi Lee (founder of OM yoga), currently live in New York City. They lead yoga and meditation retreats worldwide and are cocreators of the OM Yoga & Meditation Workshop DVD.
